You are invited to participate in the second annual………

RHHS Multi-Generational Band!

River Hill’s final concert of the year will feature an ensemble of current, former, and future members of the Band program, and it is going to be TONS OF FUN. 7th- and 8th-grade Band students at our feeder middle schools are invited to join us for the last piece on the concert, Jay Chattaway’s “Introduction and Dance.”

Here’s all you need to do:

1. Check your calendar and make sure that you are available.

REHEARSAL: Friday, June 2nd, 7:30-8:00. (The rehearsal for the full ensemble is actually from 7:00-9:30, and you are more than welcome to be there the entire time, but we will rehearse your piece at 7:30.)

CONCERT: Saturday, June 3rd, 3:00-4:00. We will have a picnic afterward, and you and your families are encouraged to join us! (Bring your own food.) You can just show up at 3:00 and sit in the audience until you are called to the stage for the last piece.

You must attend the rehearsal if you wish to play in the concert.

2. Email me at Michael_Blackman@HCPSS.org and let me know that you wish to participate. Give me your name, school, and instrument so that I can include you on the concert program. Alternatively, you can CLICK HERE to register. Either way, I will send you the music to “Introduction and Dance” so you can prepare.

3. Practice the music and come have fun with us!
