Important Band Reminders

Happy Snow Day To All! After such amazing dress rehearsals on Friday, I am not at all worried about our Winter Concert tomorrow - I know it is going to be AWESOME. I am truly looking forward to performing with all of my students, FOR all of you parents (free of charge, of course)! Please make sure that your formal concert uniform is ready to go. All students need to be dressed appropriately, including black footwear. Ladies, don't forget your necklace, and gentlemen - cummerbund and bowtie. Winter Fine Arts Extravaganza!

Good Evening Wind Ensemble Families, Next Thursday, December 19th, the Performing Fine Arts classes has an evening performance of the Fine Arts Winter Extravaganza at 7pm. This program includes students from Dance, Theater, Orchestra, Wind Ensemble, Guitar, Choir, and Piano. If you attended last year’s first annual Extravaganza Concert, you know this is an event not to be missed! Tickets for the concert are on sale NOW until Thursday, December 19th at noon. Dear RHHS Band Families, I hope that you had a great Thanksgiving and that you are enjoying the short break. I have some important reminders and updates for you - thank you for reading. I’ll try to be as concise as possible…. *Solo/Ensemble Festival forms are due tomorrow. Thank you for being prompt and for allowing me the time I need to register everyone who wishes to participate. *Tuning Chart #1 (ALL students) is due on Friday. Remember to adjust your instrument for your best tuning notes before filling out the chart, and be sure that you have a partner recording tendencies so that you are NOT looking at the tuner. *The United States Navy Band performs in our auditorium next Saturday!
