2 Quick Things

Hello to the River Hill Band Family! I hope you are all having a great Winter Break. I have just a couple of items for you: 1. All wind instrument players were given a "Placement Etude" to begin practicing. This piece will be performed individually by each student, and will serve multiple purposes, including spring seating and class placement for next year. I encourage you to begin working on it as soon as possible. If you need another copy, please write to me and I will send it to you as a .pdf (the file is too large to attach to an email sent through Charms). Percussionists have their own packet of music to prepare and that was sent in a separate email a few days ago. 2. Thank you to those

Fruit Sale - Pickup Notice

Dear RHHS Fruit Customers, Due to pending weather conditions, we will hold customer pick up tomorrow from 10 am-12 noon. Hopefully that will give enough time for roads to warm up and clear. If you cannot make it at that time, we will do our best to accommodate you but your fruit may be stored at the school for pick up next week. Thank you for your patience and support as we enter the winter season. A second email will be coming with the January order form for those who wish to place their next order tomorrow. If the fruit truck comes early today we may empty tonight to avoid bad weather that is forecast for early Sat but still have pickup on Sat morning but not as early. 9-11 or something like that. So we will email you once we know plans. Would you be able to help unload Friday night to band room? Possibly after the dance concert at 9 pm ? Or after school? Plans aren't set yet. Stay tuned. Garrett please post note to NHS folks. Thanks, Mrs H and B

Nashville Trip Fundraiser Info!

Attached is an information form so you can understand how the cards work as well and an order form. Please feel free print multiple order forms and turn them in as often as you get orders. (you don't have to save up all your orders) I will have cards in-hand today, so as soon as you turn in your order forms, I can send the cards home with your students. If you

Nashville - Moving Ahead!!!

Hello River Hill Band Families! We have approval from the school for our trip to Nashville, and it is time to move forward. If the check for your first payment has not already cleared, it will within a couple of days. Please make your check, in the amount of $200, out to River Hill High School (NOT to the Music Boosters). Write your student's name on the check, and deposit it in the lock-box in the Band Room. The only other method for making your payment is to use money that has accumulated in your student account. We have a couple of great ways to offset the cost o
